Protestants have two sacraments – Baptism and Holy Communion. We practice Infant Baptism as well as Child & Adult Baptism. No matter the age it’s an important milestone in the journey of faith, celebrating God’s unconditional love and acceptance. Baptism is also an act of faith and devotion. Parents promise to raise their children in the faith, to have them grow up learning about God & Christianity and practicing such acts of discipleship as prayer, worship and service to others.

Baptisms are usually celebrated during a regular Sunday morning 10:00 am service of worship. Prior to the baptism you will need to contact the church office (978-256-5931) to speak with Pastor Rich (Pastor-Rich@cccchelmsford.org) regarding the date and to arrange for a meeting to discuss the logistics and meaning of baptism. There are no special days reserved for baptisms, so we can usually accommodate your schedule.
