I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- Phillipians 4:13
When you step through the doors of Central Congregational Church, you know right away that you're part of something very special. From the first smiling face that greets you, you see that this congregation is a family of people who deeply love, support and respect each other.
From the beautiful and relevant sermons from our wonderful pastors to the nurturing and meaningful Christian Education and mission programs, you and your family will experience God's love and God's word in a loving, welcoming church home.
All are welcome
We welcome visitors to join us every Sunday at 10 a.m. for worship and church school. We want you to come as you are. Wear whatever feels comfortable and be as involved in the service as feels right to you.
Getting to the church (see directions) is easy. Most of our visitors and congregation park in our spacious parking lot behind the church and enter through the back door. Limited parking is also available at the front of the church. Our church is handicap accessible from the rear parking lot. We are happy to provide transportation to and from our church service.
We provide a staffed "Loving Arms" nursery for babies and toddlers and a thriving Christian Education program for preschool through high school youth. Of course, children are always welcome to stay in the worship service if families prefer.
We invite you to stay after the service for "Coffee Hour" in Fellowship Hall, sharing in refreshments and conversation. No one is a stranger here, so don't be surprised to find yourself in the middle of a conversation about an upcoming church event or the latest town news.

You never know what you might experience in one of our worship services.
In addition to our wonderful senior choir, you may hear beautiful songs from our junior choir, bell choir or our contemporary music band "SonLight". You may hear a sermon from Pastor Rich Knight or a guest sermon by one of our mission groups returning from a week of service. You may be blessed to share in one of the many special rites of our church family, including baptisms, Confirmation Sunday, Youth Sunday and welcoming of new members. The first Sunday of each month, we share in the sacrament of Holy Communion, welcoming all members of Christ's community.
Hearing assistance devices and large print materials are provided during worship for anyone who requests them.
From Christmas caroling and the Advent Festival to talent shows and church picnics, there is always something to do and always someone to do it with at CCC. And our many service and social groups - including KiSeLo, Social Action and Missions (SAM), Benevolent Beaders and Prayer Shawl Ministry - look forward to welcoming new friends. Check out what CCC is up to.
We invite you to see what CCC is all about. If you have questions, call (978-256-5931) or email our church office and one of our helpful staff will be happy to assist.
We hope to see you soon!
"For our family, CCC is so much more than a church; it's a home. We feel so blessed to be part of a congregation that cares so much for us and each other and for the community and world around us."
- The Booth family: Michael, Sue, Christian and Sarah
