Our Mission
The avowed purpose of this church shall be to worship God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate the Sacraments; to realize Christian fellowship and unity within this church and the Church universal; to render loving service toward mankind; and to strive for righteousness, justice and peace.

Our History and Foundation
Central Congregational Church, UCC in Chelmsford was founded in 1876 and is affiliated with United Church of Christ (UCC), the largest and oldest denomination of Protestant churches in Massachusetts. We are a people of covenant, a united and uniting church. Ours is a church that is still speaking.

We invite you to learn more about the United Church of Christ and the Massachusetts Conference of the UCC. "That they may all be one."

This United Church of Christ video to the right captures the vision of our progressive denomination. Watch the video, share the word and invite your friends to church!
